Building Company Theater

Mission

We use the methods of theater artists like Augusto Boal and Viola Spolin in classes and workshops. Our theater techniques promote connection, acceptance, spontaneity, growth, mindfulness and resiliency.

What's new?

Community-Centered Theater Classes, Workshops & Performances

We are an ensemble of theater workers dedicated to making theater an accessible tool for communities in Central New York. We achieve this by:

  1. Facilitating theater-based classes and workshops in partnership with organizations and community members.

  2. Performing original works of theater that are inspired by and performed for the communities we serve.

Folks of all backgrounds, abilities and experiences are welcome to participate in our classes and performances.

Community-Engaged Theater
